Whilst many airports are simply lacking in amenities for the visitor Changi Airport reigns supreme in providing the long stay traveler with a plethora of things to do. No wonder it’s ranked as one of the best Airports in the world apart from the great shopping you can:
Swim or relax in the Free Spa on the terminal roof or walk around one of the many gardens and see the butterflies at the world’s first Airport butterfly reserve they have or relax in some of the big snooze chairs they have in the terminal building.
Surfing the net is free it just gets better and better, the net is free in all terminals!
If you have more than a five hour wait you can go on the free tour bus of Singapore which runs from 10-7pm first come first served
There are movie shows all over the airport where you can see the latest movies on the big TV’s Terminals 2 and 3 offer fantastic movie areas, whereas at the entertainment deck you can play free games.
Keep yourself updated with the world financial news from cable channels like BBC World, CNBC, Channel News Asia and CNN news service. You can also catch up on the latest stock and equities information provided by Bridge Information Systems and Reuters. Plasma televisions set up are available through the whole airport.
Changi Airport makes Heathrow look like a POW camp well that’s just my two pence worth.
